From time to time I get tasked to do a fun project. For this project I was tasked to create a logo for a client that has a podcast and loves coffee. This project only took a couple of days, actually I worked on this while I was in Jury Duty.
This was the first time I actually stopped and admired the sites and views of Big Sur. Stayed overnight and was able to film my Niece doing Filipino Cultural Dances in some of these gorgeous views.

Visiting Yosemite in the winter is quite different than the summer. Lots of different shades of colors and moody mist and fog. It was great to hang out with family at this beautiful place.
Impressed with my nieces dance and martial arts abilities, I was inspired to work with her to create this short video to showcase the Filipino culture. I filmed, edited, and creative directed the video.
“The Filipino martial arts and entry points are usually hidden in dances to mimic weapon movements. For example in fan dances, the fluid motions are similar to blade movements. The blades and fan never stop moving. The martial art I learn Is kali. It is meant to be used with blades, but you can use it with no weapons. In lieu of blades, I practice with sticks so I do not hurt myself. The art also focuses on multiple opponents, not just the one person you are fighting.” @kalikalimonster
Desert sunsets are always stunning. I have always loved the multi-colored sunsets when camping in Joshua Tree.
One of the last projects I worked on before leaving Qualcomm was using computer vision for image segmentation. One thing I learned is the power of combining technologies like Computer Vision and AI to segment products for novel experiences.
This is a concept for using computer vision and ai for image segmentation. If a user is selling goods and wanting to add interactivity to better communicate with their followers, this technology can improve the over all user experience. The photo of the goods is automatically segmented and made interactive. Users can click on a particular good and get the pricing and filtering the comments that relate to that product.
Here is the latest video I shot, edited, and did the motion graphics for Parry-N-Riposte. It is about motivation and training with heart.
